Beginning as a teaching assistant at Boston College, I helped students discover the fun of basic black and white photography and darkroom techniques.
I started in photography using a Minolta SRT-201 that my grandfather gave me as a present.
The fully manual camera with match needle metering has always been my favorite, but keeping up with the times, we have recently been working in the digital format using a Minolta DiMage 7i.
My wife, Sue, is the inspiration of this site.
She has been a steady support and believer in our talents,
and together we try to capture scenes that are both special to us and appreciated by others.
